CBS upcoming, and as-yet untitled, Wall Street drama pilot has added two to its cast.
Sophie Okonedo (Hotel Rwanda) and David Morse (The Green Mile) have both boarded the pilot, which is being toplined by Boardwalk Empire alum Charlie Cox, TVWise has learned.
The untitled drama is set in the world of Wall Street power and money and follows Jackson (Cox), a Wall Street hedge fund trader who served his country in Iraq and has the integrity and desire to do good. The script was written by Taylor Elmore & Ben Cavell and is based on a story by Elmore, Cavell, John Cusack and Kevin McCabe.
Okonedo has been cast as Bryce, an Assistant Attorney General who leads a task force investigating Wall Street; while Morse will play Conklin, a hedge fund genius who is worth billions. Both Okonedo and Morse are no strangers to television, with Okonedo having recently appeared in the David Tennant starrer The Escape Artist, while Morse recently wrapped his run on the HBO series Treme.
