Rose McIver Set As Lead In The CW's 'iZombie' Pilot – TVWise

Rose McIver has been tapped to play the lead in The CW’s drama pilot iZombie, which hails from Veronica Mars creator Rob Thomas.
The Once Upon A Time alum will play Liv in the Warner Bros. Television produced pilot. She joins a cast which also includes Alexandra Krosney, Malcolm Goodwin, Robert Buckley, Nora Dunn and David Anders. McIver, repped by WME, has most recently played the role of Tinker Bell on ABC’s Once Upon A Time. Her other television credits include Masters of Sex and CSI: Crime Scene Investigation.
Based on the DC Comic, iZombie follows Liv (Rose McIver), a med-student-turned-zombie who takes a job in the Coroner’s Office in order to gain access to the brains she must reluctantly eat so that she can maintain her humanity. With every brain she eats, she inherits the corpse’s memories. In order to quiet the voices in her head she teams with a police detective and her boss to solve homicide cases. The script was written by Diane Ruggiero and Rob Thomas, who is also directing. The executive producers are Diane Ruggiero, Rob Thomas, Danielle Stokdyk and Dan Etheridge.
