Ratings: ‘Line Of Duty’ Posts Highest Overnight Audience This Season With 2.6 Million Viewers

Line of Duty has again posted week-to-week gains in the ratings, with last night’s outing pulling in some 2.6 million viewers.

Those figures are up by some 0.3 million viewers or 13% on the 2.3 million viewers who watched last week’s episode; representing a new season high for the show’s second season in the overnights.

Season-to-date the second season of Line of Duty has been averaging an overnight audience of 2.2 million viewers and a consolidated audience of 3.1 million viewers.

Elsewhere at 9pm last night, BBC One’s Famous, Rich & Hungry pulled in 3.5 million viewers and a 16% share; ITV’s Law & Order: UK managed 4 million viewers and a 19% share; Live From Space over on Channel 4 averaged 1.6 million viewers and a 8% share; and Channel 5’s reliable import NCIS managed 1 million viewers and a 5% share.
