Nazanin Boniadi Upped To Regular On Showtime’s ‘Homeland’

Nazanin Boniadi is going to be getting more screen time on the fourth season of Showtime’s flagship drama series Homeland.

The actress, who plays CIA analyst and financial expert Fara Sherazi, has been promoted to series regular status for the show’s upcoming fourth season, which is set to enter production this Summer and air on Showtime this Fall.

In season four, Sherazi, who was brought in on the investigation into the terrorist attack on the CIA by then acting CIA Director Saul Berenson (Mandy Patinkin), will find herself working for newly promoted station chief Carrie Mathison.

Boniadi is an accomplished actress who is currently appearing in a recurring role on ABC’s hit series Scandal. Her previous television credits include How I Met Your Mother, Grey’s Anatomy and 24, while on the feature side she has appeared in The Next Three Days and Iron Man.
