Fox is making a number of changes to their midseason schedule.

The network announced Monday that they were moving tanking drama Rake from its current berth on Thursday nights to the Friday night 8pm slot, where it will serve as the lead in to the 9pm comedy block of Enlisted and Raising Hope. The schedule move is effective from Friday March 14th.

The twelfth season of Gordon Ramsay’s Hell’s Kitchen will premiere in the Thursday night 8pm slot on March 13th, serving as the lead-in to American Idol which will assume the 9pm slot vacated by the Greg Kinnear fronted drama.

Also on the move is the Chris Meloni starrer Surviving Jack. The comedy was originally scheduled to start its freshman run on Thursday March 27th at 8:30/7:30c. With Hell’s Kitchen now in the 8pm hour, the series, which will still debut on March 27th, has been pushed an hour to 9:30/8:30c.
