APIVAmazon is picking up four of their pilots, including Chris Carter’s The After and the Titus Welliver fronted Bosch, to series, TVWise has confirmed.

The four pilots getting the nod are The After, Bosch, Mozart In The Jungle and Transparent. The deals for the pick ups, first reported by Variety, are not quite done yet and while Amazon is not commenting publicly it is understood that all four will be receiving 10 episode orders for their first seasons. An announcement from Amazon is expected in the coming weeks along with confirmation that the John Goodman starrer Alpha House has been renewed for a second season.

Written and directed Chris Carter, The After follows eight strangers who are thrown together by mysterious forces and must help each other survive in a violent world that defies explanation. The pilot was produced by Georgeville Television and stars Aldis Hodge, Andrew Howard, Arielle Kebbel, Jamie Kennedy, Sharon Lawrence, Jaina Lee Ortiz, Adrian Pasdar and Louise Monot.

Based on Michael Connelly’s best-selling Harry Bosch series and written by Eric Overmyer and Michael Connelly, Bosch follows a relentless LAPD homicide detective as he pursues the killer of a 13-year-old boy while standing trial in federal court on accusations that he murdered a suspected serial killer in cold blood. The drama stars Titus Welliver, Annie Wersching, Amy Price-Francis and Jamie Hector.

Penned by Roman Coppola, Jason Schwartzman and Alex Timbers, Mozart In The Jungle is all about sex, drugs and classical music and shows that what happens behind the curtains at the symphony can be just as captivating as what happens on stage. The comedy stars Gael Garcia Bernal, Saffron Burrows, Lola Kirke, Malcom McDowell, Bernadette Peters and Peter Vack.

Written and directed by Jill Soloway, Transparent is a darkly comedic story about an LA family with serious boundary issues. In this exploration of sex, memory, gender and legacy, the past and future unravel when a dramatic admission causes everyone’s secrets to spill out. The comedy stars Jeffrey Tambor, Judith Light, Gaby Hoffmann, Amy Landecker and Jay Duplass.
