The third season of FX’s comedy series Wilfred will receive its UK premiere on BBC Three on Monday March 17th at midnight, with four episodes airing back-to-back.

Wilfred is based on the Australian TV series of the same name and was developed for American television by David Zuckerman. The series is about a young man, Ryan (Elijah Wood), struggling unsuccessfully to make his way in the world until he forms a unique friendship with Wilfred (Jason Gann), his neighbor’s pet dog. Everyone else sees Wilfred as just a dog, but Ryan sees a crude and somewhat surly, yet irrepressibly brave and honest Australian bloke in a cheap dog suit. The series is produced by FX Productions and stars Elijah Wood, Jason Gann, Fiona Gubelmann and Dorian Brown. Guest stars for season three include Chris Klein, Mary Steenburgen, Dwight Yoakam, Gina Gershon, Angela Kinsey, Jenny Mollen and Lance Reddick.
