TV Land has renewed their original series The Exes for a fourth season. The network has handed the comedy a 12 episode pick up. Production on season four is due to commence this Spring with TV Land eyeing a summer 2014 premiere.
“From the moment we read the very first script for ‘The Exes,’ we fell in love,” said Larry W. Jones, President of TV Land. “This series has a comedy ensemble that’s a force to be reckoned with, and it just keeps getting better and better.”
Created by Mark Reisman (Frasier), The Exes revolves around three divorced men: Ladies’ man Phil, homebody Haskell and newly single, and needy, Stuart. The men live together in an apartment across the hall from their divorce attorney, Holly, who also happens to be their landlord. Holly avoids her own relationship and commitment issues by becoming immersed in the men’s affairs as they put their lives back together and return to the dating scene. The comedy series is produced by TV Land Original Productions, Acme Productions & Mark Reisman Productions and stars Donald Faison, Wayne Knight, David Alan Basche, Kelly Stables & Kristen Johnston. Leah Remini (King of Queens) recently joined the series in a recurring role.
