Fox Sets Premiere Dates For ’24’ Event Series, ‘Gang Related’ & ‘Surviving Jack’

At their panel at the TCA Winter Press Tour, Fox today unveiled premiere dates for their upcoming 24 event series Live Another Day, new drama series Gang Related and the Chris Meloni fronted comedy series Surviving Jack.

24: Live Another Day premieres on Monday May 5th at 8/7c with a two-hour premiere, before moving to its regular 9pm time-slot on Monday May 12th. Penned by Howard Gordon & David Fury, 24: Live Another Day is set in London and will once again follow the exploits of heroic agent Jack Bauer (Kiefer Sutherland) as he attempts to thwart an unthinkable terrorist attack that could change the world forever. The limited event series, which Fox said could be followed by additional such entries in the coming years, is being produced by 20th Century Fox Television, Imagine Entertainment & Teakwood Lane Productions and stars Kiefer Sutherland, Mary Lynn Rajskub, Kim Raver, William Devane, Giles Matthey, Gbenga Akinnagbe, Michael Wincott, Judy Davis and Yvonne Strahovski.

Drama series Gang Related launches on Tuesday May 20th at 9/8c. Created by Chris Morgan, Gang Related follows a gang member who is sent to infiltrate the San Francisco Police Department and rises through its ranks. He soon learns that he must balance his obligations to his crime family with an increasing sense of loyalty to his new “family” — the SFPD’s Gang Task Force. The series is produced by 20th Century Fox Television & Imagine TV and stars Ramon Rodriguez, Terry O’Quinn, Sung Kang, Inbar Lavi, Jay Hernandez, RZA, Cliff Curtis and Shantel VanSanten.

While comedy series Surviving Jack premieres on Thursday March 27th at 8:30pm. Penned by Justin Halpern and Patrick Schumacker, Surviving Jack tell the story of a boy becoming a man, and a man becoming a father, in a time before coming of age was something you could Google. The series is produced by Warner Bros. Television & Doozer and stars Christopher Meloni, Alex Kapp Horner, Connor Buckley, Claudia Lee, Kevin Hernandez and Tyler Foden.
