The third season of HBO’s dramedy series Girls will receive its UK premiere on Sky Atlantic on Monday January 20th at 10pm, with a double-bill, it has been announced. In addition, the first two seasons of Girls will be made available through Sky’s On Demand service on Sunday January 19th.

Created by Lena Dunham, Girls follows the day to day lives of Hannah, Marnie, Jessa and Shoshanna who are trying to figure life out. They’ve been living in New York for a couple of years, but they’re still not sure what they want – from boys, from each other, from themselves. And things aren’t getting any clearer. The comedy series stars Lena Dunham, Jemima Kirke, Allison Williams, Zosia Mamet and Adam Driver. In the show’s third season, friendships between the girls are more volatile than ever, proving that female friendship is its own kind of romance. As always, love, life, sex and death can all interrupt the circuitous path to adulthood – and will arrive when you’re least prepared.
