Sky Living Sets Premiere Date For ‘Drama Matters: The Psychopath Next Door’

The Psychopath Next Door – one of five dramas which are being piloted as part of Sky Living’s Drama Matters strand – will premiere on Tuesday October 1st at 9pm, it has been announced.

Penned by Trollied scribe Julie Rutterford, The Psychopath Next Door is described as a the creepy and intriguing drama which explores what happens when evil moves in next door. It tells the story of three friends whose lives are rocked by a new arrival. Secrets are spilled and loyalties are tested when Dr Eve Wright (Anna Friel) moves into the neighbourhood. Feisty, glamorous, oh, and psychotic, the cunning doc sinks her claws into the unsuspecting group, Marianne (Eva Birthistle, Strike Back), Imogen (Kathryn Drysdale, St Trinian’s) and Catriona (Claire Keelan, The Trip), just for the thrill of it. No blow is too low for Eve as she sets out to supplant Marianne as queen bee. The drama was produced by ITV Studios and directed by Kieron J. Walsh.
