Fringe alum John Nobel is joining another genre series on Fox.
The network has announced that the actor has landed a recurring role on their drama series Sleepy Hollow, which premiered earlier this week to an impressive 10.1 million viewers and a 3.5 rating in the 18-49 demo.
Nobel has been cast as Henry Parrish, a kind and reclusive man who possesses supernatural powers that have the potential to help the series’ protagonist, Ichabod Crane (Tom Mison).
Written by Alex Kurtzman and Bob Orci, Sleepy Hollow is based on The Legend of the Sleepy Hollow and follows Ichabod Crane as he partners with Sleepy Hollow’s local female sheriff to solve the mysteries of a town ravaged by the battle between good and evil. The drama series is produced by 20th Century Fox Television & K/O Paper Products and stars Tom Mison, John Chu, Orlando Jones, Katia Winter and Nicole Beharie.
