Bob’s Burgers is sticking around for a while. Fox has handed an early renewal to the animated series, which is set to begin airing its fourth season this Sunday. The network has ordered 22 episodes for season five.
Created by Loren Bouchard, Bob’s Burgers follows a third-generation restaurateur as he runs his own burger joint with the help of his wife and their three kids. Bob has big ideas about burgers, condiments and sides, but only a few thoughts on customer service and business management. Despite his greasy counters, lousy location and occasionally spotty service, Bob is convinced his burgers speak for themselves. The animated series features the voice talents of H. Jon Benjamin, John Roberts, Dan Mintz, Eugene Mirman and Kristen Schaal.
“Bob’s Burgers is one of those rare finds that just continues to outdo itself, creatively,” said Kevin Reilly, Chairman of Entertainment for Fox Broadcasting Company. “The show has become a key member of our Sunday Animation Domination family, and we’re looking forward to attracting new fans with another season.”
