The second season of Showtime’s comedy series House of Lies will receive its UK premiere on Sky Atlantic on Monday September 2nd at 10:15pm, it has been announced.

Based on the book House of Lies: How Management Consultants Steal Your Watch and Tell You the Time, House of Lies was created by Matthew Carnahan and follows the exploits of Galweather & Stearn, one of the top management consultancy firms in the US. Marty Kaan (Don Cheadle), a highly-successful and cutthroat consultant who is never above using any means (or anyone) necessary to get his way with and for his clients, is the big-money earner at Galweather & Stearn. He works alongside his hot, young team of big-balling power players, known as The Pod. The comedy series stars Don Cheadle, Kristen Bell, Ben Schwartz, Josh Lawson, Dawn Olivieri, Donis Leonard Jr. and Glynn Turman. In season 2, The Pod, especially Marty and Jeannie, must deal with the fall-out from the big merger showdown. Meanwhile, Marty is thrown by the arrival of a new ‘frenemy’ at work and by Roscoe, who decides to move in with his lunatic mother, Monica (Dawn Olivieri).
