NBC is the second broadcast network (after CBS) to announce premiere dates for their fall line ups. Much like CBS, there was no real surprises in NBC’s announcement today. The lion share of new shows are debuting during the traditional premiere week, while some are spilling over into October.
Up first is The Voice, which debuts on September 23rd at 8pm, leading into the series premiere on hot drama The Blacklist at 10pm. The sophomore season of Chicago Fire follows on Tuesday September 24th, with Revolution and Law & Order: Special Victims Unit kicking off their new seasons on Wednesday September 25th. Parks and Recreation launches its sixth season with an hour-long debut on Thursday September 26th at 8pm, leading into the hour-long debut of The Michael J. Fox Show at 9pm and the fifth season of Parenthood at 10pm.
The Blair Underwood fronted Ironside kicks off on Wednesday October 2nd at 10pm. Freshman sitcom Welcome To The Family follows on Thursday October 3rd at 8:30pm, leading into Sean Saves The World at 9pm. The third season of Grimm premieres on Friday October 25th at 9pm, leading into Dracula at 10pm. NBC has yet to announce premiere dates for About A Boy, Believe, Crisis, Chicago PD, Community, Crossbones, The Family Guide, Hannibal and The Night Shift.
