The third (and final) season of ABC’s comedy series Happy Endings will receive its UK premiere on E4 on Tuesday June 18th at 10pm, it has been announced.
Happy Endings was created by David Caspe and follows the daily lives of a group of six friends who must adjust after two of them, who were engaged to be married, suddenly break up. The comedy series stars Elisha Cuthbert as Alex Moore, Zachary Knighton as Dave Rose, Eliza Coupe as Jane Williams, Casey Wilson as Penny Hartz, Adam Pally as Max Blum and Damon Wayons Jr as Brad Williams. The series is produced by Sony Pictures Television and ABC Studios with David Caspe, Jamie Tarses, Anthony Russo, Jonathan Groff and Joe Russo serving as executive producers.
In the opening episode of the show’s third season, titled Cazsh Dummy Spillionaires, Dave and Alex start seeing each other again but are determined to keep things casual and date other people. Max nurses Penny after she falls down the stairs and is put in a body cast, but he tries to extend her recovery period so that he can keep seeing her attractive physical therapist. When Brad gets a new job after being out of work for a while, he feels compelled to keep it secret from Jane because she loves having a house husband at home.
