DirecTV has renewed their first original drama series Rogue for a second season, TVWise has confirmed.

The news, which was first reported by Deadline, comes shortly after the show’s ten episode first season wrapped its run on DirecTV’s Audience Network on May 29th. Production on the second season is set to commence this Summer for a 2014 premiere.

Created by Matthew Parkhill, Rogue follows Grace, a morally and emotionally conflicted cop who is tormented by the possibility that her own actions contributed to her son’s death. Grace’s search for the truth is further complicated by her forbidden relationship with the crime boss who may have played a hand in the crime. The drama series is produced by Entertainment One (eOne) & Greenroom Entertainment in association with Momentum Entertainment and stars Thandie Newton and Marton Csokas.
