Upfronts 2013: NBC Announces Fall Schedule; ‘The Blacklist’ On Monday, ‘Revolution’ Moves To Wednesdays

Ahead of its upfront presentation in New York City tomorrow, NBC has released details of its 2013-2014 fall schedule. In total, the network has 14 new scripted shows this season. Only six of them appear on the fall schedule, with About A Boy, Believe, Crisis, Chicago PD, Crossbones, The Family Guide, The Night Shift and Undateable all pencilled in for mid-season. The only returning show slated for a mid-season launch is Community, while the network has yet to decide on the fate of Hannibal.

JJ Abrams drama series Revolution is moving to Wednesday nights at 8/7c, with new entry The Blacklist taking the covert post The Voice time-slot at 10/9c on Monday nights. Chicago Fire is also on the move to Tuesdays at 10/9c, while Law & Order: Special Victims Unit is staying put on Wednesday night at 9/8c and will lead into the networks new drama series Ironside at 10/9c. Thursday nights are also getting a shake up. Parks and Recreation moves to the 8pm time-slot and will serve as the lead in to three new comedies: Welcome To The Family, Sean Saves The World and The Michael J. Fox Show. Following up in the 10pm slot is Parenthood. Finally, NBC is creating a genre block on Friday nights with the third season of Grimm slotted in for 9/8c, leading into limited series Dracula at 10/9c.
