TV Clip: Deleted Scene From ‘The Fall’ Episode 2

The BBC has released a 44 second clip of a deleted scene from the second episode of their hit drama series The Fall. In this scene, Assistant Chief Constable Jim Burns (John Lynch) asks DCI Garrett Brink (Frank McCusker) for his advice after Detective Superintendent Stella Gibson (Gillian Anderson) asks to be appointed SIO (Senior Investigating Officer) on the murder inquiry. The third episode of The Fall airs tomorrow night on BBC Two (Monday May 27th) at 9pm.

Created by Allan Cubitt, The Fall revolves around a PSNI (Police Service of Northern Ireland) investigation in Belfast into a string of Murders. After the PSNI are unable to make any progress on the case(s), Detective Superintendent Stella Gibson, who is on secondment from London’s Metropolitan Police Service, arrives at the Belfast police station to review the murder investigation and close the case. The drama series stars Gillian Anderson as Detective Superintendent Gibson and Jamie Dornan as Paul Spector, a serial killer who is terrorising the city of Belfast. Also starring in the series is Archie Panjabi (The Good Wife), Bronagh Waugh (Hollyoaks), Niamh McGrady (Upstairs Downstairs), Gerard McCarthy (Hollyoaks), Emmett Scanlan (Hollyoaks), Karen Hassan (Hollyoaks), John Lynch (The Jury), Simon Delaney (Roy) and Séainín Brennan (Hidden).
