Oh dear! The BBC has finally fallen for the American disease. Just as we were all looking forward to the finale – the end of programme descends, with an obvious further series to follow in which the chase begins and all the other loose ends to be resolved (and there are far too many to list).

BBC, I have lost interest, despite the excellent acting, and interesting story line, I do not want to see an endless series – with follow on, followed by follow on. Please learn from the excellent Broadchurch.

I shall not be watching any further episodes – I feel cheated
