EXCLUSIVE: Following on from renewing Bluestone 42 for a second season, BBC Three has renewed another of its established series. I’ve just learned that executives at BBC Three have renewed their comedy series Pramface for a third season of 6 episodes, slated to air in early 2014. Created by Chris Reddy, Pramface follows the daily lives of two soon-to-be teenage parents who should still be concentrating on their education. The comedy series is produced by Little Comet and stars Scarlett Alice Johnson, Sean Michael Verey, Anna Chancellor, Angus Deayton, Dylan Edwards and Yasmin Paige. The executive producers are Mark Freeland and Lucy Robinson.

They should have it be more than 6 episodes! I’m from America, and yea, we have a tv show similar to Pramface, but I want more Pramface than I do of The Secret Life of the American Teenager. If this show was available in America, I’d make sure and watch it!

It IS available in the US. Check it out on Hulu Plus! I just found the show and zipped through the first two seasons. I LOVE it!! Can’t you bring out Season 3 faster (and with WAY more episodes???!).

GREAT show and cast!!!

I just started watching Pramface, and I watched the whole show in 2 days. Shocked, just shocked to see that there will be only 6 ?!?!?!?!?!?!?!? episodes in 2014 ?!?!?!?! Why the wait?!?! Why only 6?!
I absolutely am in love with this show, such awesome actors, directing, and story.

On the last episode for season 2 of pramface. I don’t want it to end): Waiting for more than half a year for season 3 is to damn long!

May 25, 2013

Absolutely love this series!!! Also watched on Hulu Plus and was bummed out when I reached the last episode. They need to produce more than 6 episodes for Season 3-this show is witty and the characters hysterical! One more thing-give us Season 3 soon!!!!!!

I watched the first 2 seasons of Pramface on Hulu Plus. I really enjoyed each episode, and am pleased to hear it was renewed for a 3rd season. But particularly after making fans wait until early 2014 for season 3, why only 6 episodes for the 3rd season? There should be twice as many. Plus, Scarlett is going to be too old to play Laura pretty soon.

There must be something we, the fans, can do to have episodes released sooner. One year is a long time for only 6 episodes. I’d be ok with it if they were 50+ minutes long. I love this show sooooo much<3

Pramface is totally awesome! The acting is excellent the humour is on point. Just grips me every episode.

This is crazy! Only 6 episodes? Please lengthen the show to 60 minutes and minimum 15 episodes per season. Scarlett will not be believable pretty soon.

It is soo funny! I love it!!!! The BBC should not stop it and they are too short they should be a hours and more episodes

OMG, just zipped through the first 2 seasons, and like the rest of us can’t wait for more. I couldn’t believe that there were only 6 episodes in a season:( WHAT THE HECK?

Pramface is SERIOUSLY AN AMAZING SHOW. The downside is it’s probably a bit too smart for regular TV in the USA. I would love to see this show come to the USA. On a station like HBO this show would be a huge success.

Please, increase the number of season 3 episodes. And ship it to the US. You’ll make boatloads of advertising $$$.

Can’t wait for 2014: Pramface is one of a kind, excellent! That being the case, Hollywood has plans for an American Version this Summer Replacement season: Strollerhead.

June 20, 2013

Pramface is one of my favourite programs, its very cute & funny. UK seasons tend to be shorter than American ones that is why only 6 episodes.

June 25, 2013

Pramface is a good show, wish season 3 would be sooner, hope 2014 gets here fast.

Pramface is an amazing show. Found it on hulu, and got addicted from the first episode. It sucks to have to wait till 2014 for only 6 episodes. Would love to see it become an hour long show and possibly take after American shows and have 15-24 episodes in a season. Six just isn’t enough. It has been the best show I have seen in a while. Better than most of the stuff I see on here in the states. Bbc, you have a winner with pramface.

Hi I live in England and I love ‘pramface’ but all uk sitoms come in ‘series’ normally a minimum of 6 episodes to a maximum of 10 episodes per series. Hope that helps! U would probably all like ‘gavin & stacey’ series 1, 2, christmas special & series 3 it is also brilliant! :0)

July 10, 2013
Ian Martin

Its standard for UK to have 6 episodes per series, anything more is America!

Great, natural performances, with great writing, I reckon six episodes takes a hell of a lot of graft by all. How for can you go without diluting rare gems like this.

I love Pramface! Zipped through the first two seasons and kind of miss it. I quickly found Rev. which is also funny and flew through those two seasons. And now I wait…

i watched season 1 and 2 on hulu great show i think it would make a great weekly show there needs to be more than 6 shows that’s crazy. its better than a lot of our american teenage shows

The best comedy series on 3 by a mile. Needs to be put on to BBC1 and advertised more. Also, 6 episodes is too short for a season. Bring on Series 3 and please please please renew for seasons 4 5 6 etc. This is as good as the Inbetweeners in my opinion but it needs to be shown to a wider audience! They should do a spin off movie too!! This could, and should, run and run. Superb!

I just watched the whole 2 seasons on Hulu, and I’m going to watch them all over again with my sister! I do wish there were more episodes in each season, but that could be one of the reasons why it’s better than American shows — they don’t drag out the plot line until it’s boring! The wait does suck though. But I would be all for them renewing it for many more seasons!! Plus, whenever they show Scotland, it looks beautiful!

So, I found the show randomly on hulu and figured ‘what the hell.’ Just watched both seasons for the second time and just keeps getting better! They picked an excellent cast and plot, and the main characters personalities are fantastic. I especially like how they made the women predominant figures and not stupid like most are here in the states. Really wish they would have more than 6 episodes, make the episodes longer, or have more than one batch per year, just to keep it going. And if they could hurry with the next season and keep the show going for a while, it would be great!

wow surprised on how many people like the show, honestly i find UK shows to be a hell of alot more entertaining than US shows, i am american but there are rarely any good shows that air now in the US, besides supernatural most of the tv shows are always boring easy to predict and snooki filled shows. it would be amazing to have at least 6 seasons of PramFace, i wish they would advertise it in america, i can see myself paying 50 dollars on a PramFace Collection Of 8 Seasons instantly even if it was only it was sold in the UK and only buyable through amazon.

Pramface is better than the American teen shows. Pramface is something families can watch, not just teens. Also, the show isn’t redundant like our shows, story lines are much, much better and not boring.

July 20, 2013
Mikahel

their should be more episodes of Pramface because i love this show and so do my friends and we’d and its spectacular so please make it more than six episode next season amd more seasons I’m begging pleeeeeeeeeeeeaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaase

Like the others have stated more episodes longer shows good idea
Vicki from east enders nailed this show with this totally believable story and all parts of the cast
put it together well done
perhaps you could do us the pleasure of a Christmas in America special
were rude grandpa gets ran over by a rain deer

either way good luck on season three and perhaps we will be commenting on season 7 soon
and God bless the Quean

I only write this in hopes that someone who can actually do something about the show will take action. Definitely need to capitalize on the actors while they are together and at this young stage in the show, its an amazing show and will be picked up and paid accordingly if more episodes are created. If there was steps abc to making this happen I would take the steps, I will personally donate to the pramface production team, make this happen!

I recently found it on Hulu and it totally won me over. It has been a long time since I’ve enjoyed a show quite this much and I’m anxiously awaiting series 3.

Excited to hear there will be a new season. To those who hope for longer seasons, like US shows, the issue comes down to money. The BBC doesn’t have the kind of budget that US networks can offer producers, and the public regularly goes bananas about ‘our taxes’ when they do try and make something big budget. Six episodes is standard; ten to twelve is a very good run. Also, most British comedies are written by a single writer or a duo, rather than the writing teams they use in the US. It would quickly become overwhelming to produce 24 scripts a season on time and of quality.

I absolutely love this show! I hate that there are only six episodes but that is WAY better than none! As long as it keeps coming back every year I will settle for the six! Love Love Love it!!! Pramface, you are loved in TEXAS!!

I can’t wait.I love pramface. My teen boys watch it with me.Love to see ” Duck Face” in a great new show. Where the heck is Doc Martin?Love both shows ,wish the series was a few episodes longer. People will watch 20 episodes of TOWIE a season, but not a great, thoughtful series I guess. Oh well.

I cycled 5 minutes up to the lane towards the caravan park behind our houses this afternoon, and ran into a shoot for Pramface series 3. Stood around for about an hour and a half, in which time I think they shot about 1 minute of screentime!

I counted at least 24 people, all involved in some way in making the show. One scene is in a wooded area, and a second (which I didn’t have time to hang around for) was being set up in a static mobile home/caravan.

All very interesting, and I got a very civil ‘hello’ from Ben Crompton.
And it was a cold afternoon.

Just finished season1. My family loves this show: hilareously funny, witty and sweet. Unlike my American fan’s, i’m dutch, i think that another 6 shows are great. Too much and it would turn into a never ending story: maybe there is a reason why people love it so much… I believe it would definetly show in the quality of the storyline and characters. Anyhow, i think it is great that this little gem touches many people!

By the way, ever watched Spaced? Also a british comedy, two season, very different, but also hilarously funny!

To person who made comment about person playing Laura being to old to play her part pretty soon. You apparently don’t watch many BBC shows. American shows are vanity based. Most BBC shows are common every day looking actors which is why they make better programs.

Pram Face is a BBC Scotland Comedy production, but there is not a single Scottish person in this show.

Does that mean Pram Face is aimed at the American market and not the British citizen ? and this is why it is filmed in Scotland, but has not a single Scottish accent/person in it ?

Is there a reason to this ? … oh there was one Scottish person that made an appearance = 3 series 3rd episode ” played a villain ” hmm

I like this show.TV programming stinks in the US. The show is funny. The actors are great. I wish we had show like this one in the US. Wish there was more episodes or a season 4.

Wish there was a season 4! How can they leave us hanging like that at the end of season 3.
