The second season of Fox’s drama series Touch will receive its UK premiere on Sky1 on Tuesday April 2nd at 8pm, it has been announced.

Created by Tim Kring, Touch revolves around Martin Bohm, a widower and single father who is haunted by an inability to connect to his mute 11-year-old son, Jake. Everything changes when Martin discovers that Jake possesses the gift of staggering genius: the ability to see things that no one else can in the patterns that connect seemingly unrelated events. Jake is indeed communicating, but it’s not with words, it’s with numbers. The drama series is produced by 20th Century Fox Television and stars Kiefer Sutherland, David Mazouz, Maria Bello, Lukas Haas, Saxon Sharbino and Saïd Taghmaoui.

In Season Two, the story setting shifts from New York to Los Angeles, where Martin and Jake are on the run from the mysterious and possibly sinister research facility Aster Corps, which had shown tremendous interest in exploiting Jake’s precognitive abilities. After arriving on the West Coast, the father-son team met distraught mother Lucy Robbins (Maria Bello) and now are determined to help find her missing and equally gifted daughter Amelia (Saxon Sharbino). During their search for Amelia, their paths will cross with Aster Corps mathematical genius Calvin Morburg (Lukas Haas), who’s rumpled exterior masks his true colors, as well as a complicated and intense religious zealot, Guillermo Ortiz (Said Taghmauoi).
