After two preview episodes airing in the Tuesday 10pm time-slot, CBS’ freshman drama series Golden Boy is staying put on Tuesday nights, where it will continue to air behind new episodes of NCIS: Los Angeles. Originally the series had been set to move to the Friday night 9pm time-slot as of March 8th (this week’s episode which was schedule to air tommorrow will still go forward), instead Vegas will assume that slot effective April 5th. The move to swap the respective series’ time-slots comes after Golden Boy consistently beat off the competition to win the 10pm time-slot for the last two weeks, something Vegas has been unable to do for some time. Golden Boy was created by Nicholas Wootton and follows one man’s meteoric rise from police officer, to detective, to police commissioner. The series stars Theo James, Bonnie Somerville, Chi McBride Holt McCallany, Kevin Alejandro and Stella Maeve. Berlanti Productions is producing in association with Warner Bros. Television, with Nicholas Wootton and Greg Berlanti serving as executive producers.
