BBC Three’s satirical series The Revolution Will Be Televised has been renewed for a six episode second season which is set to air later this year, it has been announced.

Produced by Hat Trick Productions, The Revolution Will Be Televised brings corruption, greed and hypocrisy to the fore and drags it to the court of public opinion in each unforgettable half hour. During its first season, the show grabbed headlines for its bite-sized comedy bits which included George Osborne being handed a GCSE Maths Book, Cheryl Cole supposedly storming out of a BBC TV interview and a break in at The National Gallery. The Revolution Will Be Televised was created by Jolyon Rubinstein, Heydon Prowse and Joe Wade, the executive producers are Richard Wilson and Sean Hancock.
