The second season of FX’s comedy series Anger Management (which according to distributor Lionsgate TV consists of all 90 episodes that were recently ordered by the network) will receive its UK premiere on Comedy Central on Wednesday January 30th at 10pm, it has been announced.
Based on the 2003 feature film of the same name, Anger Management follows the daily life of Charlie Goodson, a non-traditional therapist specialising in anger management. He has a successful private practice, holding sessions with his group of primary patient regulars each week, as well as performing pro bono counseling for an inmate group at a state prison. Charlie thrives on the chaos in his life while still battling his own anger issues. His life is complicated by his relationships with his own therapist/best friend, an ex-wife whose positive outlook but poor choice in men frustrates Charlie, and their 13-year-old daughter who has OCD. The comedy series is produced by Lionsgate Television, Revolution Studios, Evolution Entertainment, Mohawk Productions, Inc. and Estevez Sheen Productions and stars Charlie Sheen, Shawnee Smith, Selma Blair, Daniela Bobadilla, Noureen DeWulf, Michael Arden, Derek Richardson and Barry Corbin. Martin Sheen is also joining the cast this season as a series regular playing Martin Goodson, Charlie’s father.
