The third season of NBC’s drama series Friday Night Lights will receive its UK premere on Sky Atlantinc on Tuesday November 6th at 8pm, it has been announced.

Created by Peter Berg, Friday Night Lights follows the daily live of the members of a high school football team and their coach Eric Taylor. The drama series stars Kyle Chandler, Connie Britton, Gaius Charles, Zach Gilford, Minka Kelly, Adrianne Palicki, Taylor Kitsch, Jesse Plemons, Scott Porter, Aimee Teegarden, Michael B. Jordan, Matt Lauria, Jurnee Smollett, Madison Burge and Grey Damon. In the opening episode of season 3, titled I Knew You When, the first Friday night game of the season is only five days away, something which causes Coach Taylor to reassess and start to worry about the strength of his team. There’s reason to be hopeful, though, when freshman JD McCoy makes a promising impression, so much so that Saracen’s future as QB1 looks shaky. Things haven’t worked out the way Smash planned and he struggles to adapt to life after the injury that cost him his college scholarship. Tami, meanwhile, takes on the challenge of being Dillon High School’s new principal, and Tyra considers running for student body president.
