Hunted returned for its second episode in the 9pm time-slot on BBC One and drew in 3.4 million viewers and a 15% share. That is down 25% in total viewers compared to last week’s series premiere (4.5 million viewers/19% share), but Hunted was still the number 2 program in the 9pm slot.

The significant drop in viewership from week one to week two does not bode well for the series, though the numbers for Hunted are expected to increase significantly once consolidated figures are made available. In the 9pm time-slot Hunted was up against Channel 4’s The Plane Crash (3.5 million viewers/17% share), BBC Two’s The Choir: Sing While You Work (2.6 million viewers/11% share), ITV1’s Homefront (2.7 million viewers/12% share) and Channel 5’s Making Faces (0.7 million viewers/3% share).
