After initally announcing that the second season of The Almighty Johnsons would premiere on Thursday September 13th at 10pm, Syfy UK has moved the premiere date for the show’s second season to Monday September 17th at 10pm.

The time-slot move comes after Syfy UK acquired the exclusive first run UK broadcast rights to Canadian sci-fi series Continuum, which was given the coveted post Warehouse 13 time-slot on Thursday nights; the same time-slot that had initially been allocated to the second season of The Almighty Johnsons.

As if that wasn’t enough of a problem, his family members don’t have any control over their powers and its up Axl (the reincarnation of Odin) to restore them and ensure the family’s survival by finding the reincarnation of Odin’s wife, Frigg. The dramedy series stars Emmett Skilton, Tim Balme, Dean O’Gorman, Jared Turner and Ben Barrington.

In the opening episode of the show’s second season, titled And Then She Will Come To You, picks up several months after the season 1 finale and sees Mike (who is now living with Axl and Zeb) dealing with the end of his marriage by having one-night-stands and using his powers to settle scores. Meanwhile, Agnetha sends Anders off to Norway to secure a mysterious object, Loki and Michele (Michelle Langstone) form an alliance, and an old acquaintance of Olaf, who is the reincarnation of Kvasir, has a prophecy for Axl. But how will Axl, Mike and Ty react when Agnetha reveals she is their mother?
