ITV1 Sets Premiere Date For ‘Leaving’

ITV1’s new three-part drama Leaving will premiere on Monday September 10th at 9pm, it has been announced.

Created by Tony Marchant, Leaving follows 25 year old Aaron Simmons, who lives with his parents and has been unable to find a job since leaving university. To make matters worse for Aaron, hsi ex-girlfriend Phoebe is about to marry his brother. But things start to change for Aaron at the wedding. He runs into Julie Ranmore, a 44 year old married woman. Julie quickly gives Aaron a reality check and he, in turn, hardens his resolve to find work, leave behind his childhood bedroom, and turn things around. Aaron takes a job in the very hotel where the wedding was held – which just happens to be where Julie works. With the both of them now working side by side, a bond begins to form and, one night, they share an intimate moment, which takes them both by surprise. What follows will have profound implications for both Aaron and Julie as they each come to terms with their actions. The three-part drama was produced by Red Production Company and stars Callum Turner, Helen McCrory, Deborah Findlay, Nick Dunning, Charity Wakefield, Bart Edwards, Amelia Young, Callum Austin, Sean Gallagher, Gregg Chillin, Celyn Jones, Sandra Huggett, Anna Koval, Hera Hilmar and Linzey Cocker.
