The Lying Game was created by Sara Shepard and follows identical twins Emma Becker and Sutton Mercer, who were seperated at birth and have led very different lives, each oblivious to the other’s existence until circumstances bring them back together. Yearning for the family she never had, Emma agrees to help Sutton with her plan to find their birth parents by stepping into her life for a few days, setting in motion a web of secrecy and lies. The drama series is produced by Alloy Entertainment & Warner Horizon Television and stars Alexandra Chando, Andy Buckley, Blair Redford, Sharon Pierre-Louis, Kirsten Prout, Alice Greczyn, Allie Gonino and Helen Slater.

The second half of the show’s first season returns with the episode O Twin, Where Art Thou?, in which Emma and Ethan find Sutton has disappeared after their argument and the Mercer family car is missing from the garage. When the police find the car at the bottom of the lake, Emma and Ethan look to each other for support, but Thayer threatens to tear them apart with his accusations against Ethan. Meanwhile, Char’s aunt, Rebecca (guest star Charisma Carpenter, Buffy the Vampire Slayer), has returned to town and Char is the only one happy about it.
