The third season of USA Network’s CIA drama series Covert Affairs will receive its UK premiere on UKTV’s Really channel on Wednesday September 19th at 9pm, it has been announced.

Covert Affairs was created by Matt Corman & Chris Ord and follows Annie Walker, a recent CIA recruit who is assigned to work in the agency’s Domestic Protection Division under Joan Campbell, the  wife of the Director of the National Clandestine Service. Annie is assisted in her duties by her colleagues Auggie Anderson, a blind CIA analyst, and Jai Wilcox, a fellow CIA case officer and son of Henry Wilcox, the former Director of the National Clandestine Service. Produced by Universal Cable Productions, the drama series stars Piper Perabo, Christopher Gorman, Karrie Matchett, Anne Dudek, Sendhil Ramamurthy and Peter Gallagher.

The show’s third season picks up after the events of the season two finale where Annie’s (Piper Perabo) mission in Stockholm turned deadly. She returns to the one person who has always been there for her – Auggie (Christopher Gorham). However, his mind is elsewhere as he sets out to follow his new girlfriend to Eritrea and leaves Annie wondering if her feelings for him run deeper than she thought.
