TBS has renewed comedy series Men At Work for a second season. The network has ordered 10 episodes for the show’s second season, whis set to premiere in 2013 alongside the fourth season of Cougar Town.
Created by Breckin Meyer, Men at Work centers on four buddies who work together at a magazine. The comedy series stars Danny Masterson (That 70’s Show), James Lesure (Las Vegas), Michael Cassidy (The O.C) and Adam Busch (Buffy the Vampire Slayer). Men at Work is produced by Sony Pictures Television and Fanfare with Breckin Meyer, Jamie Tarses and Julia Franz serving as executive producers.
In its first season, Men at Work has averaged more than 2.7 million viewers in Live + 7, with 1 million adults 18-34 and 1.8 million adults 18-49. The comedy ranks as one of basic cable’s Top 5 new series among adults 18-49 in Q2 2012.
Speaking of the renewal, Michael Wright, President & head of programming for TBS, TNT and Turner Classic Movies (TCM), said: “Men at Work is a strong addition to the TBS lineup and has worked extremely well paired with The Big Bang Theory. We’re very excited to welcome the outstanding cast and production team of Men at Work back for another season.”
