The Amazon owned streaming service LOVEFiLM has signed a multi-year deal with 20th Century Fox Television Distribution to provide its customers with streaming access to recent and forthcoming movies and TV series.
Under the pact, films released in 2011 will be available to LOVEFiLM subscribers from March 2013 and select TV shows from 20th Century Fox’s vast television library – including early seasons of Sons of Anarchy and all seasons of 24, Buffy The Vampire Slayer, Angel and Prison Break – will be available from July 2012. This is the latest in a long line of content deals that LOVEFiLM has signed in the past twelve months, previous deals signed by the company include those with Warner Bros., Sony Pictures, NBCUniversal, Entertainment One, STUDIOCANAL, Disney, ABC, BBC and ITV.
