Community fans rejoice! NBC has renewed the cult comedy series for a fourth season of 13 episodes.

The renewal for the Sony Pictures Television produced comedy comes after less than stellar ratings for the series (season to date, across season three, the series is averaging 3.5 million total viewers and a 1.6 rating in the 18-49 demo in live+same day), and a very public feud between series creator Dan Harmon and cast member Chevy Chase. The series will wrap its third season next Thursday, with at 90 minute finale.

Community joins previously renewed comedy 30 Rock, while there is still no word on the fates of The Office or Parks and Recreation, although both are expected to return. Other returning series for next season include Grimm, Law & Order: Special Victims Unit, Parenthood and Smash.
