BBC Three Sets Premiere Date For ‘Dead Boss’

BBC Three’s new six-part comedy series Dead Boss will premiere on Thursday June 14th at 10:30pm, it has been announced.

Created by Sharon Horgan and Holly Walsh, Dead Boss revolves around Helen Stephens who is falsely imprisoned for murdering her boss and sent to HMP Broadmarsh to serve her sentence. Initially, she is sure that it is only a matter of time before this horrible mistake is sorted and she is back to her old life. However, everyone else around Helen seems to be conspiring to keep her on the inside for one reason or another.

The comedy series starts Sharon Horgan as Helen Stephens, Jennifer Saunders as Margaret, Geoff McGivern as Tony, Bryony Hannah as Christine, Aisling Bea as Laura, Amanda Lawrence as Mary, Edward Hogg as Henry, Lizzie Roper as ‘Top Dog’, Tom Goodman-Hill as Tim, Ricky Champ as Frank, Emma Pierson as Mrs Bridges and Barnaby Kay as Justin. Dead Boss is produced by BBC In-House Comedy Productions, Steve Bendelack serves as series director, with Jo Sargent serving as executive producer.
