Happy Endings stars Elisha Cuthbert and follows a group of friends who get on with their lives after the couple that was the lynch pin of the group breaks up. Happy Endings has been a top performer for the network and, as we previously reported, the series was always considered a lock for renewal. The comedy series joins previously renewed series Once Upon A Time, Revenge, Castle, Grey’s Anatomy, Suburgatory, Modern Family and The Middle.
Word is that next in line for renewal at the network is Tim Allen’s Last Man Standing, which is also considered a lock for renewal. I also hear that things are looking up for bubble show Body of Proof, with one source telling me that they would bet their 401K on the series being renewed, while another said odds had gone from 60/40 against to 70/30 in favour of a renewal. Also expected to be renewed is drama series Private Practice (for a 13 episode final season) and comedy series Don’t Trust The B—- In Apartment 23.
