Back in March, TVWise broke the news that A&E’s new series Longmire would premiere on Sunday June 3rd, where it would be paired with the cable network’s longest running scripted series The Glades.
The network has now made that official by announcing that the third season of The Glades will premiere on Sunday June 3rd at 9/8c, followed by the series premiere of Longmire on Sunday June 3rd at 10/9c.
The Glades was created by Clifton Campbell and stars Matt Passmore as Jim Longworth, Kiele Sanchez as Callie Cargill, Carlos Gomez as Carlos Sanchez, Uriah Shelton as Jeff Cargill, Jordan Wall as Daniel Green and Michelle Hurd as Colleen Manus. The drama series follows Jim Longworth, a Chicago homicide detective who, after being accused of sleeping with the wife of his commanding officer, transfers to the Florida Department of Law Enforcement.
Based on the series of novels written by Craig Johnson Longmire stars Robert Taylor (The Matrix), Katee Sackhoff (Battlestar Galactica), Lou Diamond Phillips (Stargate: Universe), Bailey Chase (Damages), Cassidy Freeman (Smallville) and newcomer Adam Bartley. The drama series follows Walt Longmire, the Sheriff of Absaroka County, Wyoming. Longmire is a widower who, following his wife’s death, lost interest in his job as Sheriff. But with the help of one of his deputies he re-commits to his job and decides to run for re-election, only to find that one of his own men is running against him.
