The second season of BBC Two’s comedy series Episodes will premiere on the channel on Friday May 11th at 10pm, it has been announced.

Episodes was created by David Crane and Jeffrey Klarik and follows Sean and Beverly Lincoln, two award winning British TV producers who move to Hollywood to adapt their comedy series, Lyman’s Boys, for US television. The comedy series stars Matt LeBlanc as a fictionalised version of himself, Stephen Mangan as Sean Lincoln, Tamsin Greig as Beverly Lincoln, John Pankow as Merc Lapidus, Kathleen Rose Perkins as Carol Rance, Michael Brandon as Elliot Salad, James Purefoy as Rob and Nigel Planer as Samford Shamiro.

The show’s second season picks up four months after the season one finale. Sean and Beverly’s marriage has been blown apart by Beverly’s fling with Matt and Matt’s friendship with Sean appears to be damaged beyond repair. But as their sitcom “Pucks!” is about to premiere, all three are forced to find a way to continue working together.
