BBC One Orders New Comedy Series ‘Me & Mrs Jones’

BBC One has ordered Me & Mrs Jones, a new comedy series from writers Oriane Messina and Fay Rusling.

The comedy series follows the increasingly complex life of Mrs Jones as she balances love, affection, sex and motherhood between an ex-husband, one grown-up son, two young daughters and male admirers with a 20 year age gap. Me & Mrs Jones stars Sarah Alexander (Coupling), Neil Morrissey (Men Behaving Badly), Nathaniel Parker (Merlin) and Robert Sheehan (Misfits).

The BBC has ordered six episodes for the show’s first season, which is being produced by Hartswood Films, in association with Serena Cullen Productions, with Serena Cullen and Beryl Vertue serving as executive producers. Nick Hurran is attached to direct, with production set to begin on the series on location at Teddington Studios on May 21st.
