Sky Atlantic has announced that they have moved the UK premiere date for Game Change to Saturday April 14th at 9pm. The two hour Palin biopic was previously scheduled to premiere on Thursday April 26th at 9pm.

Game Change is based on the bestselling book of the same name by Mark Halperin and John Heilemann and follows the 2008 election, focusing on how John McCain and his advisors chose Sarah Palin to be the vice presidential candidate and the impact this decision had on both his campaign and on Palin herself. Game Change boasts an impressive cast which includes Julianne Moore (Far From Heaven), Ed Harris (Apollo 13), Woody Harrelson (Cheers) and Peter MacNicol (Ally McBeal, Numb3rs).

The two-hour TV movie originally aired in the United States on HBO on March 10th at 9/8c and drew in an average audience of 2.1 million viewers, making it HBO’s highest rated original movie in almost eight years.
