The second season of French police drama Braquo will receive its UK premiere on FX on Sunday April 29th at 9pm.

Created by Olivier Marchal, Braquo follows a team of police officers within Paris’ SDPJ 92 (Hauts-de-Seine Police Department) who often use borderline tactics, such as violence and intimidation, to do their jobs. It’s not long before Internal Affairs catches wind of the situation and starts an investigation, which leads to the team leader being wrongly accused of corruption and committing suicide. The team then decides to do whatever is necessary to clear the man’s name.

Wondering what’s in store for the cops of the Hauts-de-Seine Police Department following the season 1 finale? Per FX’s release: “As the new season kicks off, the game is up for hardhitting cops Caplan, Morlighem, Roxanne and Vachewski. Their punishment? Caplan is put on remand awaiting trial, Morlighem and Roxanne are reassigned to junior posts and Théo Vachewski is forced to kiss his badge goodbye… for good.”
