Kiefer Sutherland is returning to Sky 1. The channel has confirmed that they will start airing his new drama series Touch on Tuesday March 13th at 8pm.

From Heroes creator Tim Kring, Touch stars Kiefer Sutherland as Martin Bohm, David Mazouz as Jake Bohm, Gugu Mbatha-Raw as Clea Hopkins, with Danny Glover in a recurring role as Arthur Teller. The series revolves around Martin Bohm, a widower and single father, haunted by an inability to connect to his mute 11-year-old son, Jake. Everything changes when Martin discovers that Jake possesses the gift of staggering genius – the ability to see things that no one else can in the patterns that connect seemingly unrelated events. Jake is indeed communicating, but it’s not with words, it’s with numbers. Now, it’s up to Martin, with the assistance of Arthur Teller, to decipher the meaning and connect the numbers to the cast of characters whose lives they affect.

The series premiere episode has already aired in the United States as a special preview, attracting 12.01 million viewers and a 3.9 rating in the 18-49 demographic. Touch is scheduled to air in its regular timelot in the US on Fox from March 19th, when the network will show the series’ first two episodes; meaning that the new episodes of the series will be broadcast in the UK just one day behind being broadcast in the US.
